We have an inseason bitch in the house and an intact male who is driving us mental! This should be reason enough to have him castrated but I phoned the vets and bottled it at the last minute.

My poor boy I look in his eyes and I cant bring myself to do it too him..

I need someone to talk me round..

It wouldn't make any difference this season anyway - castration takes several months to have any effect, I'm afraid.

Oh no Im not expecting it for this season, Im thinking about the future, I have two bitches unspayed...

Im going to do it!

poor baby, cant you have friend look after him when they are in heat?

No one will have him :( The two people who usually take him also have bitches in season!!

Poor Ron, he's in a right old pickle..we have left him round the inlaws for a few hours to give him a break from his hormones.

I know someone in a similar situation who uses a Tardac injection for the duration of the season ;)  They really don't want to deprive him of his hormones full time when they only cause a problem twice a year :)  I don't know about the timing of the injection but it works really well for them and may be worth considering.
