I took my wedding ring off as I had a itchy patch now I cant get it back on!!!!!  Now while there are times I would like to pretend I am not married it took me 8 years to get it on my finger.  Any suggestion short of chopping my finger off

I wouldn't put it back on until it slips on easily - try in the morning as your fingers have probably swolled a little in this heat.

Smear your finger with either washing-up liquid or butter.

Ooohh, I wouldn't like to try. I hate tight rings, mine are all just that little bit big really. Why not have it enlarged at the jewellers. It'll only cost 5 or 6 quid.

Well I would have had it enlarged but it is a two tone ring and also usually it is not tight but I have swollen up due to the heat. :)

Ring in warm water & hand elevated & in ice might help

Soapy water (as in when you wash your hands) usually works for me......
