I would like a puppy boy or girl as a pet how do i find one?

Go to the Hound Index and click on the particular variety of dachshund (there are six!) that interests you. At the bottom of each Breed Standard there are lists of breed clubs. Contact them and ask for lists of reputable breeders who test their stock for the relevant hereditary conditions.
