Has anyone please got contact details for this company, I don't want to use them, it is for a legal matter concerning false paperwork and I can't find it anywhere.

:( :( :(
Good luck!
Thank you. I posted the message I was going to be anonymous but thinking on.....I'm not worried if people do know who I am. Someone has used my stud dog and consequently has his paperwork and are now putting his name on another litter and attempting to register them with this company. I have contacted DL now and they have said they will put a block on any litters registered under his name, we shall see. He is DNA profiled, so I shall also put that scheme to the test. I am constantly astounded at the lengths some people will go to :(
Let's hope they do put a stop on it, but seeing as they register dogs with names that are a totally breed not sure that they will do!
I just can't believe some people either. Good luck! The sooner this register stops the better in my opinion, there are too many people using it for illegal means.

Seems they don't even need confirmation from the stud owner that a supposed mating took place then. :(

If the breeders are using false information even to achieve something so low in value as DL registration  I would say that was fraud perhaps the Trading Standards Office may be interested in looking into this for you.

Isabel, we know that this isn't worth the paper it's written on, but for those who don't know, their website is impressive!! :( I was shocked when I read the latest....
"The club has now been running since 1993, and we are pleased to say it has been a resounding success! This is because we are a "NO NONSENSE" registration club, and do not believe in too much red tape, and it's obvious from the response we've had that our customers don't either.
The fact that we can supply you with these documents enhance the sale of your puppies, and will also ensure that you keep the history of your breed. The majority of your customers love their dogs as a valued family pet, and not as a show specimen (except exemption shows)."

I have just looked their site It amazes me that they cannot even spell some of the breed names correctly, have breeds listed that do not exist & makes no mention of eye tests or other genetic problems although they state all breeds should be Hip Scored !
All I can say is words fail me

It does say that all dogs should be eye tested, hip scored etc. as necessary for the breed. When you look at the ethics it all looks very good and no wonder people are fooled into thinking it's a good register.

Missed the eye testing but no DNA tests for CLAD etc , heart testing elbows etc but if they don't keep records how do you know they do not hold the data base do they
I have contacted Trading Standards, they were very helpful but it will be the puppy purchasers who have an issue. I have put a block on him with KC, I shall see if they enforce it. DL said they would do the same, we shall see. I have also informed Adtrader where the ad was placed. I have had strong words with the person and as you all the know the doggy world is very small and I will find out where these pups go and make sure they know my dog is not the father. I am also not allowing the registration of the bitch he did mate until she and all of the pups are DNA profiled to prove he is the father, a lengthy process but she was only mated last week.
Thanks everyone,
I had heard of dog lovers club before but never looked at their website. All I can say is, I think the person who runs this club must be making a sheer fortune!!
With registration prices at £25 per adult dog and £8 per puppy, and the lax rules of registration, I can imagine this sort of registration would appeal to people who do not abide by the kennel club code of ethics for breeding dogs :-(
