are pit bulls banned by the dangerous dogs act. on the bbc news website there is a story about a boy bieng killed by such a dog in leeds. it states that the american pit bull terriers are not one of the four dogs listed in this act. acording to defra they are banned. which is true? "people could be mis-informed (DANGEROUS OR WHAT)

I think that it will more than likely of been a Pit Bull, don't really think that many if any AMPT's have been brought into this country but people with "Pit Bull types" claim them to be AMPT's !
