At what age is it safe to give a puppy live yoghurt ? I thought any age but my friend says no ! My puppies are now 6 weeks old (and all spoken for), but have slight squits !! It may well be the weather that has caused it and was thinking on giving them some live yoghurt to try and settle their tums and bums. Apart from that they are eating and drinking well and so full of energy. Thanks in advance

You can give a few teaspoons on their food from this age (I used it from start of weaning with no problems ;) ) amount depends on the size/breed of pups, but definately 2 teaspoons :)
I give it to my pups from 2 - 3 weeks of age. Upset tummies could be due to the weather, when were they last wormed?
They were wormed at 3 weeks and it 5 and not sue to be wormed again until 8 weeks. I used Panacur this time, usually I use Drontal, but a few on here said they also prefered Panacur.
I am thinking it could well be the weather, that and they are venturing outside and if they can get it in their mouth in it goes !!! Gave me the perfect excuse not to plant any flowers in the back garden this year - don't want the puppies eating them......... now do we !!!!??
Thanks for the advice folks and I'm away to get some shopping in and live yoghurt in now on my shopping list.

Mine had it at 2 weeks, loved it and were fine.
