We are getting a puppy in August and buying a dog crate for it.  I was wondering what sort of bedding I should put in it?  Should I buy a proper dog bed yet, or should I just put vet bedding and blankets in it whilst it is young?  (We have laminate flooring)

I wouldn't buy the proper bedding yet, Vet Bed and something snuggly will be fine.  Also as it is August you may find the puppy will be too hot with too much bedding.
