I was wondering if any of you show Havanese or shelties?

Hi bumbleeacres

Unfortunately looks like no-one shows them here :d

I have to say that I prefer Havanese shown in their natural state as they are in Europe.  Luckily some people are showing them like this in the UK but few and far between.  The smart overbrushed look like many have here isn't the way that they were supposed to be it's a shame that people have to change them and make them look more like a Lhaso.

Good luck with your Havanese as they are a really cute breed.

Thanks!
Yeah I know over here the standard calls for a natural apperance.
it's a shame when people minipulate a breed to look other than it really should.

What line is your dog?  Although they are not my breed I do quite like them when they are shown how they should be :d

My male has 'A maiden's effort' lines on both sides of his pedigree (very European stuff)
My bitch has 'Los Perritos' & 'Los Perros' on both sides of her pedigree (very American stuff)---she is Champion sired, but not the male. Both have extensive Champions in their backgrounds though.
I highly recommend them, they are really funny little clowns. Not yappy, easily potty trained, and very smart.
