Hi,
Is there anyone who knows the up to date law on puppy
contracts?
I have been told they do not hold up in court!!!
Is this true? or can you make them?
Just say!!  for instance !! if someone brought a puppy, of you and they say they
Have a problem with it, that was not found on you selling the puppy.
But!! they refuse a refund, or money back what would you do?
Regards

No they do not hold up in law. Under the law, a dog is property and, as such, the seller cannot dictate what you do or don't do with it.

Usually, you need to take a new pup to a vet within a few days of purchase in order to make sure that the pup is healthy

Hi,
I have read so many puppy Contract's! and am not sure if they are worth it,
If they do not stand. Or is it just to confirm what you tell the buyers verbally.
When they purchase the pup?

A contract gives both breeder and purchaser a little peace of mind that the future of the pup is being taken seriously. Anything in writing can possibly be used in court if necessary - word of mouth can't.
