All dogs (and all humans) have a hard palate and a soft palate as normal - are you meaning a cleft palate or an elongated soft palate?

One of my recent litter has only just been diagnosed with cleft palate of the soft palate.  She is 8 weeks old (not a cocker spaniel) but my vet has said she will not need surgery, she is feeding well and as big as the rest of the litter.

If you would like more info please feel free to PM me.
