Hi there everyone,
Does anyone know if the tough skin on dogs paw pads sheds skin to replace with new skin?
The skin on my dog's paw pads is peeling off,although it looks as though there is new growth underneith.
It does seem to be tender to touch.
He (Bo) is a Fox Terrier X if that makes any difference.

Maybe his paws have been burnt on a hot pavement during the warm spell!   I have to say I have never had this problem with any of my dogs but maybe somebody will be along later who can advise you better.
