Our pup has been bleeding for 3 weeks this friday. I know once the blood stops it is not over. But how do we know when it is?!

Seasons are around 21 days.  If your youngster is bleeding for long I'd take her to the vets because that's a long time for a bitch to be continuing to bleed especailly with you saying pup I presume she's quite young.  I keep my dogs seperate for 4 weeks. Her vulva should eventually reduce back to norma size although not all dogs go back quite a small as before.
