hi I am a newbie to this site but have a question for all u guys,my lab bitch is 64 days pregnant from her first mating,last nite i noticed jelly like mucous ay her rear end and her temp was 98,today she is fine no panting just lots of laying around.Does this sound like the pups are imminent? thanks

Quite possibly, stay with her tonight and see what happens. Good Luck. :)

If it was me personally I would have her checked by the vet. The temp does go up and down but 98 is generally  around the lowest and an idicator they are ready for the outside world. Good luck

She sounds like she's in the early stages so looks like you will have some pups in the next couple of days :d

The mucus is normal although they usually have it for a few weeks before and then it breaks away just before the pups are due.

Hope all goes OK.  If she seems healthy in herself and happy I wouldn't worry about the vets as it's adding extra stress but if you do have any worried get her to the vet straight away.  I wouldn't leave her on her own at all now.
