When a skin scrape is done, is it usually done with a razor which takes off the fur as well as scrapes the skin?  Just wondered, as we have a black dog and we show her and the skin probs are round her face.

It's usually done with a scalpel blade, and is generally done where there's hair loss anyway, so it makes no difference to the appearance.
