Nor have I! ;) That's what the post is called (to make it easier for the Guest to find). The same principles apply to pet dogs or show dogs, though.

Personally I think it highly unlikely that this a show dog anyone spending anytime at all in the show world would know this is not how studding comes about.

Do you feel JaneS's excellent post needs enhancing then?  I personally feel there is no further advise I could offer but why does the poster need to register for you to add any additions you feel are necessary after all you could specify whether you advise applied to a pet or a show animal.

guest,i wouldnt reccomend you stud your bulldog,even more so if hes a pet one as once they have done it they want a steady supply of bitches coming to them,it really isnt fair and can change his whole character,he may start urinating in the house,humping visitors,etc, people that show their bulldogs go to the best kennels around,im afraid the only bitches youd be able to put him to are pet ones and many end up in rescue! there are enough good ones around for people to use as studs to their bitches,why dont you just enjoy him for who he is,it really is for the experienced people only,its not just a matter of letting dog and bitch get together at all,please dont be offended by my opinion.
