How long can a puppy be left in a dog crate, sorry if I got the name wrong, its a large wire cage completed enclosed!
I have 6 month JRX old pup, she sleeps in her crate fine at night fine, but is it okay to put her in it when I go out to work or pop out shopping?

Should be fine once pup is used to it and so long as its not for extensive periods :)
Also remember not to treat a crate as a punishment but as a private den :)

An adult dog can be left crated for up to about 4 hours, a puppy somewhat less.
