I have three year old springer lined her with lovely but young and not proven dog. All signs were good took to vet at about 31days and they were very confident she was pregnant. She is a very active springer as springers are but was careful not to over-exercise her.  She was fed better than rest of family.  Started to worry in last 2 weeks of pregnancy not putting on much weight no milketc.  Took her back to vet on due date told there was no pups.  Not sure was she ever pregnant or has she suffered miscarriage.  Would be grateful if anyone else has experienced this or any knowledge to let me know. Also if miscarriage when will next season be. Thanks Kat.

Bitches can reabsorb pups they don't miscarry as such.her next season should be 6 months after her last one.

I'd agree with the first post although she may have a season abit later, she has probably reabsorbed the pups, and it might be worth when she has her next season putting her on antibiotics before she is mated incase she has an infection.  Although there is many reasons why they reabsorb the puppies.

Warm regards Susan

My girls are 6 months from their last season whether they've had a litter in between or not.  Regular as clockwork!  My girl lost a litter many years ago, but actually delivered mummified pups at 6.1/2 weeks.  :-(
