Some of you already know that my mum had a masectomy last october,all has been well up until a few weeks ago,she went for her usual check up,the consultant noticed a lump in her neck he took a biopsy and the cancer has spread to the lymth node in her neck,so she has had,bone scans,abdominal scan,chest xrays ect,we went yesterday for the results,and thank God it doesnt appear to have spread to other parts,she has to have 14 days of radiotherepy at the christie hospital in manchester in a couple of weeks ,it was a great relief for her and of course us, fingers crossed that this treatment may work,please say a prayer for her,she has been through so much recently.

I will be praying for her Shiela, I'm so glad the results have been good and I hope the treatment passes quickly for her.  I have had friends treated at Christies, they speak very highly of it.

Hope all goes well for your mother.  One of my consultants works there and they are great.
