Guest why don't you join, so you can tell us what breed of dog you would like. However if you get a puppy s/he will hopefully be in your life for 10 years or more, so (up to a point) the cost of the puppy shouldn't really come into it :D

There are many breeds this colour.  As the other poster said join and advise us on which breed.  I presume Lab. but could be wrong.

Yes I thought the same, but as you say there are many different black/brown breeds.
