Bless her. 14 is a good age.
The only thing I've found to help with neurological dysfunction is swimming. My friend has a few CDRM cases which swimming has helped to improve muscle tone and hind leg function. It doesn't stop the disease, just improves clinical symptoms so the dog can have a reasonable good quality of life for longer. 1 dog that was a quadriplegic due to disc compression was able to walk after a few weeks swimming sessions.
I've known of some people to cart them when they have neurological problems, providing they are not in any pain, are in otherwise good health, bright and alert and have still got bladder function. Some dogs take very well to carts, others find it hard to adapt.
It's a difficult call to make and only you know best how to gauge your dog.
God bless you.
