Having looked it up on google ha ha its a cute big newt type thing. I have seen them inthe petshop and they look lovely but wouldnt have the first clue how to care for one so no help sorry.

They used to have them in the pet shop on Pigeon Street! :-)

Oh heck....thought it was a flippin' antibiotic or something....couldn't understand why you'd want to buy antibiotics. Anyway, no, never owned one, but they look lovely.

I remember reading about them in my old book, Pets for Children, but that's about the extent of my "experience" :P

There were two kept in one of the biology classrooms when I was at school. They never seemed to do anything and I often wondered what purpose they served.

We have them at college, they are around 6" long and fairly old now, they are easy to keep and feed on livefood such as crickets.
