My Puppy has mostly black nails and I am reluctant to clip them, can anyone recommend a good nail file i can use instead, as the mikki one I have is hard
work although my boy is very patient with me when I do it, it takes a long time and we both get fed up. I am going to a Windsor tomorrow so maybe could
pick one up there.

I use one from a hardware store ie B&Q, it is certainly quicker then the Mikki one.  Mine has a different grade on both sides.

I find using a dremel-type rotary sanding tool the easiest way to keep the nails nice and short without hurting the dog.
