Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Non-competing dogs at shows

I know there's been a topic on this before but I never read it properly. Would I be allowed to take my non-competing pedigree Sibe to a championship show to meet up with some old friends and breeders?

Only if you entered in Not for competition, which is ususally quite expensive (the price of a non cc entry).  Some of the Championship shows provide a tent for unentered dogs and it is manned by volunteers, and the proceeds donted to a cherity.  This will be outsdie the actual show area though.  Why not simply enter the dog for the show?  You never know you might do better than you think :D

I dont know if you have posted this in the right place, but anyway, enter him if he is a pup judges to make allowances everyone has to start somewhere and not all pups are well behaved :)

K,

You can enter the dog, but choose not to show it on the day too.  :-)

Do unentered dogs (NFC) have to be KC registered though ??

Yes you cannot enter a non KC registered dog at any show other than a Companion Dog Show
