Does any one know where I can get a heat pad for whelping and newborn puppies. I have one that you heat in the microwave with is good for the car, but I would like one that you plug in electric socket. I found a web site that sold them but cant find it anymore. My vets said they could order me one but I would have to pay extra on top for their hassel ( I think they get more than enough out of me). So hope one of you could help. Does anyone know which ones are best?
Many Thanks Lynn

Hi Lynn
www.hyperdrug.com and www.petnap.co.uk but I am not sure if they have a thermostat. I am just thinking which one is the best buy too!

I got mine from www.petcetera.co.uk they're not overpriced & i put the pad in a pillowcase, then underneath a piece of vetbed & it keeps the pups just at the right temperature.

I have the Petnap one and the hyperdrug one. One is flat but could be more easily damaged (PVC) depending on if your bitch is a digger and chewer. The Pet Nap one on balnace I prefer. I would love one of the snugger ones, but as my breed rarely need much in the way of heat It would be a waste of money when I ahve two perfectly useable ones alreday.
