Just to thank all who answered my worried questions in earlier posts i think im getting there with the puppy she is going outside to the loo within a week great:) slept through one night so far in the crate so bit happier there just not so sure if she will carry on sleeping without the howling though just yet and the nipping has not stopped even with suggestions from everyone it seems to be getting worse she just lunges at our feet and mine are pretty sore now she takes no notice of no!! or no bite or even if we give her time out behind the gate she will come straight back in and start over :(

I have a 5 month old Staffie and now her adult teeth are coming through she has learnt how to mouth gently it is a long hard process with a puppy but with firm consistancy you'll get there

Not sure if the question you posted was for me but incase it was we did have some reprieves from the biting and lunging at feet and sometimes she would listen to the command of no and sometimes she wouldnt just depended in what mood she was in either very playful and naughty or very cute arent i good.Sorry if i have replied to this post and it wasnt intended for me.

Glad to hear some things are getting betterwe found when she started sleeping it helped us to deal more effectively with the nipping remember she is learning something albeit not what you particularly want her too,she can only learn and take on board one thing at a time so look upon each thing she is doing well positively and give yourself a pat on the back, the rest will fall into place my pup 15 wks on saturday and still nipping well biting but she is now losing her puppy teeth and started teething all over again with her adult teeth in between that time the nipping subsideddidnt stop altogether but got better and although she is still biting our hands she has stopped lunging at our feet and grabbing feet and trousers as you walk past, but our main problem now is jumping up so we are on a learning curve with that but like everything you have to keep at it and eventually it does stop, keep up the good work you are doing well.
