Hi, i was wondering if there are any irish setter handlers because i need some help. when i stack my dog are her front paws ment to be dead straight under her, or coming forward slightly. I've watched the classes but different people show their dogs differently. Can SOMEONE PLEASE HELP????!!!!;-):-)

no i wasn't showing in the breed ring, but i was in junior handling. Was you?

I was in the breed, I saw a young girl handling and wondered if it was you - obviously not though :)

i saw a young girl handling too, i saw her with a puppy-i think. are you going to the east of england dog show? do you handle irish setters?

I think she had a puppy and one in junior :) Ive just got the one Irish that I show, he is just 8 months old now, I will be at east of england :)

iv got 3 irish but only show 1. she is 16 months now. do you do junior handling at all? im at east of england too, so we can meet each other!!  :-D

Hi Lauren, im a bit old for junior handling im afraid ( 27 ) I used to do it though when I was younger :)

Hi there you can receive PM's by if you login in and then look up the top page it will say messages click on it and they you will see your new message, if you want to reply to it at the top of the message, is a reply button hit that and away you go :D hope this help.

I don't show in junior handling anymore as too old! Will be at bournmouth in YKC handling I think, I do show in the breed, I show Irish red and white setters...

It was a girl with a GWP that won at Blackpool, my daughter was second with her munster

Was she the girl with a scottish patternd skirt? (also won at Bath?) She impressed me at bath!

yes it was the girl with tartan coloured skirt that won, she did well at crufts aswell.

unfortantly didn't see crufts, I was watching the benches that day (4 dogs) and then had my grooming competition.  Never got to watch the handling on gundog day! :(

no erin was second she wears a pink trouser suit [which she is growing out of fast!!!!] the girl with the tartan skirt is a lot older than erin and does really well with her dogs. 

i know erin! she knows stacy lol! its leanne here with the americans and the red and whites! and the red hair, u'll know from that lol!

Ah its you!!!!   One of Erins  'big' pals. How did you get on at Blackpool? Have you got your pup yet. Erin has her new one - a little girl this time.  [called Alba]

A seconds still to be proud of....

She was very proud of her second and loves anything she gets she tries very hard with a stubborn breed of dog. she has a lot of older juniors up here in Scotland that look out for her and give her good advice which is really helpful.

we left before the handling cause it was on late and ma grandad was tired! yeah ma pup is comin out @ greenock but still need 2 get her coat sorted cause its out of control!

Don't blame you for leaving early, Erin begged us to stay because that is what she came to do but it was 4 hours after our judging had finished. We were knackered and they wouldn't allow us to take the dogs out so we could have a nap in the car. It was worth while when she got her second though.  Looking forward to seeing your pup.

iv got a junior dog and a 7 month old bitch! no not goin 2 windsor i dunno when my next champ show is lol! iv got a few schedules tho for later this year

so ur not going to national gundog? so what are your dogs show names so i can look out for them lol

i have no diea where am goin lol ma gran has the cshedules. iv got aft valentinos touch and aft sugar babe. think my next champ show will be welsh kennel club. iv got like 5 champ show schedules upstairs to send off!
