Just curious on what are the lil things you do to keep in touch with OH when you both are busy?
I get up at 5:30 - 6am and work at 7am, hubby works at 1pm and home some where around 11pm or later. Of course by then Iam in bed and we don't see eachother till the weekends and even then can be limited because he sometimes has to go into work.... I write him in the morning which he reads when he gets up, then he writes me back which I read when I get home. Then I write him before bed which he reads when he's home from work, he writes me back and I get that in the morning. WE tell about our day and anything about the kids ect, that is our way of comunicating. May sound corny but I love getting that letter and look forward to it, keeps us in touch... Ya of course there is our cel phone which I do call him before I go to bed to make sure all is well but you can't sit and chat while at work, and brake well he really doesn't get one of them :(

My OH works similar shifts to me, so it's not too bad really. But on the odd occasion that he is on a late/early shift we'll usually text each other (even though he works in the hospital canteen and I'm the A&E secretary, so we're only a couple of buildings apart!). If he finishes at 3pm he'll sometimes come to the office to say hi. He even texts me 'goodnight' if I'm in bed and he's downstairs!!
MSN Messenger - he sits on his pc on the otherside of the fireplace and went I want to tell him something I MSN Message him :D

jessthepest lol :D

Don't communicate with OH at all when he is out/at work :D I'll text/MSN/ring if he's late home and I want to know whether to get the dinner on. Hubby used to be abroad a lot when the children were younger, before the days of the mobile phone, so I learnt to manage without constant communication :D :D

Who? sorry don't know who that is, what does he look like? Been so long with him studying, working and me working, studying - the only thing we remember to do, which requires some communication is exercise, feed, train dogs when other half isnt there.
