Hi,im just wondering,someone has told me that it is possible to shave a Powderpuff crested to look like a hairless crested is this correct,not for selling purposes but just to acheive the look??

If you wanted a hairless then you should of got a hairless, no a powderpuff should never be clipped like a hairless they are two totally different looks. 

I adore the Powderpuff and to think not so many years ago they used to be culled as they weren't as popular as the hairless.

The hairless Chinese Hairless dogs need moisturising lotion/cream to prevent their skin drying out and to keep it in good condition.  They also need sunblock if going out in the sun and a jumper/jacket when going out in cold/wet weather.  Is this what you want for your gorgeous Powderpuff?  Why not keep him as nature intended, he is still very unusual and I bet you get stopped all the time if he's groomed nicely :D :D :D

i have a powder puff, and you do not shave them, they may take a lot of grooming but if you get into a routine it takes no time at all to keep them looking good, have you got a true powder puff or do you have a hairy hairless?
