y (blackpool) and noone had a tail like brocks he is red but his tail is fine until half way down when it goes a bit white then darker until its black can i still still show him or am i wasting my time

Colour
Any shade of brindle, fawn or red; colour to be pure and clear. A slight white marking on chest permissible.
Other white markings undesirable. Black muzzle essential, toning off towards eyes, with dark markings around eyes contributing to expression.
hi so does that mean i would never win anything? he is lovely but his tail lets him down im getting a new puppy soon so in your opinion should i keep this as a pet and show the new one or could i still win even with his tail cheers &

Haven't got a clue as I don't judge Bullmastiffs , the above is the breed standard for colour
Best of luck if you are going to have to big puppies together
Small variations from the breed standard are permissible, obviously depending on what they are....a slight colouring to the tail would only be considered as a very small fault. The best thing you could regards getting into showing, take brock along to a show and get a judge to give him a look over...he/she will soon tell you if you are wasting your time considering showing him...in your opinion does he meet the breed standard? Does his ears sit right? is his mouth undershot?
All the best

hi robbo ive taken him to a show n.f.c and asked people ive been told he is well worth showing ,ive entered him into his first show in 2 weeks im a nervous wreck as he only stands when he feels like it and leaps around when i try to get him to trot nicely but we will have a go
Were any of these people judges? Or perhaps people who didnt want to offend you? As for standing and trotting...no judge expects a dog of this age to behave himself....practice and alot of training will sort out these little quirks.
What show is he entered into in 2 weeks? What class have you entered him into?
All the best

ive been told his tail is normal the colouring will go as he gets older ,ive entered one in southport were im from and the bullmastiff open ( cause if i make a fool of myself most people will be in bournemouth at the champ show ) one in kirkby liverpool all opens then im entering tha darlington champ show ive entered minor puppy ,i bought brock as a pet so if he doesnt do well thats fine but we enjoy it ,do you go to shows ?
Yes i go when i can....more to learn than anything else, seeing a good handler working a dog is very worth while, plus i love to be surrounded by bullmastiffs...lol
All the best
