Skye is 3 weeks from first mating ,second two days later.I know she will show earlier this time,but I didn`t expect her to show now.When she is lying down she definately looks pregnant.Is this normal? I am having her scanned on Friday at vets,he won`t scan before then .She was scanned last time at 3 weeks by Archie a sheep farmer but he is in N.Zealand.Anyone in Scotland know of anyone who will scan sooner?I will be grate ful for any info.

I could tell that Lana was at 3 weeks although my mum didn't think she was.  Now at 5 weeks she's massive.

Same here with my Jozi, was quite shocked that she was obviously pregnant looking (to me anyway) at four weeks,a dn to everyone at 5 weeks.  Seh si a big roomy bitch so didn't expect to be seeing it this early, but ti is a secodn litter.

She was reasonably large last time by the end but carried a lot of water as only produced 4 live pups and one stillborn.  So I don't think you can go by size.  Her Mum who is much more neat had 9 large pups in ehr first litter and even though she looked pretty pregnant I don't know where she kept them.

Skye statred showing at 4-5 weeks last time ,she didn`t get really big until about 7 weeks.9 pups.She went off her food last time for 2 weeks I am having to watch her this time as she is wanting more food now and waits to see if her daughter leaves any she will then clears both dishes and carry them hinting she wants more.I`m trying not to give more

Brainless I think our two girls seem very alike :d  Lana was one of 9.  This will be her second litter two and she's nearly 5.  Her last litter she also only had 4 and was quite big.  She looks nearly as big as her mum did when she was carrying Lana but knowing my luck she'll only have 4 again, though I'm not complaining as long as she and the pups are fit and healthy.

I worried the last time and didn`t relax until all pups were with their new mums and dads.
