Hi Debbie, I think Lovelylady was refering to her bitch lost her mucus plug, not that she lost the puppies, (not sure though, but thats how I read it). I hope I'm right and she didn't lose the pups.

Lynn

Hello she was due sat but she could have taken on her second mating which was on the monday . Today was the start of the signs of whelping so she could have them anytime now , no contractions yet though just panting ,digging and wanting to go out all the time to hide under the bushes :D . The pups have been really active this morning kicking alot but they have gone a little quite now ,which they normaly do just before whelping :) hopefuly we will have some pups by the morning :) Ill keep you updated

- By luvly [gb] Date 28.06.05 16:15 UTC
Hello sorry ive not been here Ive been so tired I went 3 days with only a hour or two sleep so ive been catching up on some :)
She had two lovely pups yesterday morning at 6am A blue roan boy and an orange roan girl.
One got stuck on the way out so off we went to the vets and he couldent get her out so he did a c section . she was an orange roan and died , A blue roan male died of a swollen tummy but going to suggest we pts anyway.
so we collected another 6 live pups from the vets two orange roan girls a choc boy and a blue roan girl and two blue roan boys .  I dident think she would have 10 in there she wasent looking that big shes quite thin now so will be trying to feed her up too
Babies and mum are doing well now :)
- By sandra33 [gb] Date 28.06.05 16:34 UTC

Well done, now the hard work starts!
