Find your perfect puppy at Champdogs

>Hi Guest, getting into showing couldn't be easier. First off you're dog needs to be Kennel Club registered, or it's a non starter.Except for companion shows. Then, once the dog has completed it's puppy vaccinations and quarantine period, you should take it along to your local ringcraft class to practise the 'moves' and socialise. The Kennel Club can tell you where the ringcraft classes are, or you can ask on here, maybe somebody knows your area.
>At the classes you will find schedules for upcoming shows, (dog has to be 6 callender months old). Fill in the form, send off the cheque and turn up on the day, voi la you're into showing.
>Now, about the hernia, is it noticable from looking at the dog, side on? How big is it, they can be surgically corrected you know, depending on the size. Some are not true hernias but late closures. So it really depends on a few things whether or not it might affect the dog being successful. There are no disqualifying faults in the UK showring, all faults should be judged on the degree.
