Hi All,
hope some of you out there can give me a little help, puppies will be 5 weeks on monday (not advertising), there are 7 of them i started weaning them over a week a go and 6 of them are all doing well feeding them with PC and Eukanuba puppy biscutes and fluids to drink, as well as the odd feed from mum when she allows them as they are making her very sore, but there is one who will not look at the food at all, he will lap some lactol when needing a drink but the food side of things is a no no, i tried giving him somemeat but would take a little of wafer thin ham , but can't just feed him on that, he does still feed from mum if i hold her down, someone has told me to try rice pudding, although not sure about that caise of the sugar content, i have tried scrabled egg, baby rice , rusks, any advice would be a great help as mum is soo fed up now

thanks in advance

Hya,  My puppies are a week older than yours and they are usually fed PC tins and now on dry as well but tonight I ran out of tins (until delivery in morning) and so tried them once again on rice pudding and they still love it.  If it helps the give the pup an appitite then it's worth giving it a go.  Good Luck.

thanks for the replies, tried the wee one with the rice pudding, would not even lick it, i bought a foil tray of felix cat food and he had a small amount of that, so hopefully this will get him on the road to eating, fingers crossed, he is a small breed as i say you always get one who is fussy LOL, also tried chicken i think it's the texture he does not like, typicall male.
