First of all, is your bitch KC registered? If yes, you should have received her KC papaers when you bought her :)

Then you need to wait until she has had her injections and take her to ringcraft classes. You will be able to learn how to show and your pup will learn how to be looked over and get used to be handled by different people :)

Can your breeder not give you any advice at all? I know I am eternally gratefull to my girls' breeder for all the help she has given me

Hi

I have to agree with melodysk's post wait untill your vet gives you the go ahead to go out with your pup and then find your local ring craft and go along .I would also suggest attending a few shows to watch and pick up tips and generally surf the net getting as much information about your breed as you can,but above all have fun enjoy your self.

Definitely get your breeder to help you with showing (she is KC reg isn't she?) and find a local ringcraft where they will tell you all you need to know. Try contacting the KC for a list of ringcrafts near to you.You can start showing your pup when she gets to 6 months old.
