- By Guest [in] Date 23.06.05 20:43 UTC
I am looking to buy a staffordshire bull terrier and was looking for advice on picking a good show quality pup.
I know to look at breeding, have been to lots of champ shows, talked to breeders, I have lots of books but what i realy need to know are the actual phisical atributes that will come through in a show puppy.

i would be v. greatfull for any help.

thank you

Pat

The nest thing to do is ask your breeder.  Make it clear you want to show and they will help you pick a show pup.  Afterall they wouldn't want a non show quality in the ring with their name as breeder ;)

Also, if you check the kennel club website under discover breeds>breeds>staffordshire bull terrier it gives you the breed standard/desirable attributes :D

Have a look on the KC website as to what the standard is as well ;)
