I have had no telephone line, for 3 day,

My telephone provider, cant/wont tell me why. I have had no response from them whatsoever. I get put on hold for ages, end up speaking to some moronic fool, who does not know there a*** from there elbow.

I've not been able to work for 3 days, son had accident at school, on wednesday, they couldnt get in touch with me. Hubby is away, so cant call son up to say night night !!

Gas boiler is on the blink, B Gas cant call me to arrange a suitable time to fix it. So no hot water. Using ketttle, and sink for washes/bathes etc.

Just lost 2 new jobs, due to being uncontactable by phone. They think Im unreliable.

Found the names of company directors, and emailed them, emailed everyone/dept of there web site. Still no response.

Sorry, Just really needed to sound off

Take a deep breathe...............and relax ;)

Thats after you've done a good impression of a screeching, manical, psychotic, foaming at the mouth banshee :D :D

Then.....when you've done that, have a large glass of something relaxing and remember tommorrow is another day ;) Couldn't you and OH speak on mobiles? Not cheap or convenient but at least you get to speak to each other.

Should take my own advice sometimes  'cos I'm so patient.........lovliest natured person you could ever wish to meet.....................

Someone I know lost their line - the telephone company provided them with a mobile phone and diverted all their land line calls to the mobile :) See if they will do the same for you :)

We loose our line (and our minds) all the time living up here in the back of beyond and BT, although they don't supply M Phones, do divert all calls to our mobiles.

You have to watch our for the charge for it on the bill though, every quarter I have to get them to take the charge off, we're not obliged to pay it as it's always their fault ;) And you have to be off for 5 working days before they will pay a daily compensation charge.

Daisy,

trying to get, a proper sentance out of them would be a starter, think a request like that, would be a tad, taxing on the old brain cells

I lost my phone line Monday/Tuesday, BT redirected my calls to my mobile. Couldn't go on the internet though :(  Apparently the people who re-newed my guttering had snipped through the wire!

Hi

Thanks for your responses, just got back from lovely afternoon, at morgans 1st sports day.

Gas man coming tomorrow, relaying calls through hubby and mother in law at the moment. still no response from the very rubbish, inept phone company.

Hubby home tonight, kwik save, think I've taken up residence with there public phone.

One very large bottle of white in fridge, waiting for me. Will drink that, then I'll try again tomorrow.

Hope they are going to pay comp out, for loss of earnings.

Im tensing up, every time I think about the moronic idiots. I'm so polite, can think of many more words.

Large wine, here I come :D

actually HP, I tried phoning there h/o, this morning, and asking for cus services director, but snotty receptionist, said I would have to go through to customer services again. And I did do my wailing banshee impression. Got a few funny looks of passers by, I can tell you.
