The safest thing to do is to contact the Yorkshire Terrier Club Of Scotland (Ms Burns Tel: 01592 759277) and ask for a list of reputable breeders in your area.  There may already be puppies available or they will know of planned litters.

This is a lovely breed but unfortunately one which often is abused by puppy farmers and Scotland unfortunately has a few sources of "kennels" which simply continously breed all the most popular small breeds charging larger sums of money than reputable breeders.   Good breeders ensure their breeding stock is health tested and provide ongoing advice about rearing, training and general care of their pups.  Good luck, Teri :)
