Today while visiting my mum, my 19 week old pup ate some of the rabbit poo. About an hour later he was a tiny bit sick, an hour after that he had diarhoea. Now he has started being really sick with bad diarhoea. Is this because of the poop or something else as earlier today he pinched a strwberry from my hubbys hand. I am concerned and could do with some advise please. Thanks

If it hasn't stopped by now, take him to the vet.  He will be seriously dehydrated and this is very dangerous.

It stopped at about 3 this morning and i have been giving him water on a syringe. This morning he is being extra naughty, bounding around stealing things etc. Should i feed him today? If so, normal food or rice and chicken?

I'd go for rice and chicken and add some Bio Yoghurt - it always helps settle a runny tummy.  Just don't feed him rabbit poo :D :D I'd say it was that causing the runs :D

I wonder what the rabbit had been eating though to give the dog the runs mine always hoover up after my mums dog and they have never had the runs from it, after all its only grain and vegetable matter.

Im wonder if it was a tummy bug Alfie had one a couple of weeks ago, it only lasted a couple of days then he was solid again.

My lot love nothing more than a pile of rabbit poo and never had any adverse affect so perhaps it was just coincidence.  :)

Possibly. He has been absolutely fine all day with no apparent illness, his poops are back to normal and the sickness has stopped, he must have just needed a clean out. It could have also been something to do with the heat. I am sure he will eat more poo next time we are at his nans so we will see if it was a coincidence. Thanks guys.
