I just went out to check the dogs as they were all nice and quiet, most of them i find asleep in the kitchen on the cold floor, then i notice a strange dog collie x type in my garden, there Moss is trying to mount it, the dog runs at the site of me and scrambles over my 6 foot fence at the back and went to a house at the back off mine, so i go round to tell them, they went to check on there dog and said shes not been anywhere shes still in the garden! i told them about what Moss was doing and they obviously wasnt believing that there darling lil dog would go out the garden. Im guessing shes on heat as the way Moss was acting and she was dancing round. Oh the nerve of some people, i really do hope there dog doesnt have any pups to my Moss, i told them about the morning after jab thing and they just went yea and shut the door. I guess there isnt really much else i can do.

No there isn't!!!!  If that's the way they want to be.  People never cease to amaze me.  It may well be a different story if their dogs has pups in 8 weeks time though.  We'll be watching this space!!!

You have done nothing wrong and you are being the sensible one so I wouldn't stress out about it, it may well be nothing.  Take care.

In 8 weeks time if the dog has pups, they may not even be yours... if the bitch can get over the fence, she may've gotten to other dogs aswell...  if she hasn't had a litter before, maybe she is spayed?

she doesnt look that old, i havent seen her before either the people have just moved in or they have had a new dog, i havent known Moss to mount a not in season dog before as i have bitches and he doesnt bother. The bitch was also dancing her bum at him. If she does have pups in 8wks i pity the bitch and the pups. If it was my bitch id be apolagising(sp) and then get her jabbed.

If she does have pups in 8 weeks time and they complain to you, or approach you for anything just deny everything ;) :) :)  Poor little bitch, some people just aren't interested :(

You have done everything you possibly can.

Most collies (once they discover they can) can easily scale 6 foot fences, so a collie x in heat will find it a doddle.

If she is in heat and now pregnant, the father could be any entire dog in the neighbourhood!

And if they do come to you, you tell them it couldn't have been your dog cos she wasn't in your garden, Remember!?!
