Having gone to a big boot sale this morning I got myself a piggin pig for 20p as I am mad on collecting them I am well chuffed.  I also got a eternal beau rum pot for £1 which I sold for £75 on ebay.  Has anyone else got any good bargains?

I have got masses of it and usually people tend to sell in job lots!  The surplas I always sell on ebay.  In order to get it you have to go really early.  I actually started the set off years ago when I got married but couldnt afford all the extras but now my cupboards are a shrine to it due to boot sales :)

We are just off in an hour for our maiden carboot :D

We shall see how it goes ! :)

Looks a bit cloudy and windy so may spend a lot of time in the car counting the money as the rest of the creww do the selling :D :D

I am going to do a bit of Ebay stuff hunting to see if I can pick up some bargains. Might end up coming home with more than we went with  :D

I just bought on ebay last night a labrador book - in fact a very important on the breed history written by Lorna Countess Howe for £1.99 - I am very very chuffed.

I don't do boot sales (probably because it would involve getting up early!) but I LOVE charity shopping.  On Thursday I took fifty quid cash out with me and left all cards at home.  In 3 hours I found 11 tops/t-shirts, 1 pair of trousers, 2 dresses and 2 belts.  My all time favourite bargains are

1. an unworn pair of suede Gucci strappy sandals $30
2. a nearly new pair of Jimmy Choo court shoes $20
3. a Fake London cropped leather jacket $25
4. a silver Karen Millen dress with tags still on $10
5. an unworn pair of black Gina sandals with little diamante straps $50 (although they weren't strictly from a charity shop but a 2nd hand designer shop).

I find heaps of great clothes 2nd hand, although one does have to trawl through a lot of crap (2nd hand knickers anyone?!).  Ebay's good as well, although I find that one can easily be misled by the descriptions, I was ripped off once with a fake pair of Dior mules (hate fake stuff) and I couldn't do anything as the description had been cleverly worded and I hadn't read it carefully enough.

We go to sunday carboots, get lots of board games for £1 quite often sell them for £15 on Amazon market place, or ink cartridges on ebay etc they are the usual things.

One week we managed to get 16 office phones for £16 and sold them on ebay for £450-£500 (cant remember the exact figure) but it bought our £450 new oven and hob and we had some change left over!!

Also had cheap laptops / palm pdas etc that we have sold on on ebay

Mary -Caroline i remember reading about an accountant or lawyer in the paper who quit her job to sell on ebay and what she did was buy designer clothes from charity shops / second hand shops etc and then sold them on eBay she claimed she was making more money doing that than she had being an accountant
