there are many tit-bits used for treats for training, just wondering what others use, ive been told, kidney, liver both cooked and diced, cheese, even polo's what do you use?

I use mostly cheese and hotdogs

Hotdogs are great.  I also do liver cake, a bit of my own concoction really.  Liver, bread crumbs, egg, garlic put them all together in the blender then cook in a hot over for about half an hour.  It's great, not too crumbly, not sticky and the dogs love it :d  I wouldn't mind but I hate liver and garlic.

Cheapy Tesco value sausages and cheese :)

I mostly use liver(just bung the liver in a bowl with some garlic and microwave until hard) and cheese, a waxy one, cut into little cubes. Hotdogs are a good one too but I don't like the stuff that goes into them and they are quite greasy too!

LOL at the polo comment Luvapug.....my Kayla LOVES polos :D Others won't touch them but if she can smell mint, she's there, and they used to seem to ease her anxiety in the car...wish beard boy would eat them!!!

At ringcraft/training I use cheese or sausage. If I take them to a show then I make liver cake :)

liver cake is a huge fav in this house and east to make! even though i dont mum does lol!

Liver cake, sardine cake, hot dogs, cheese, sausages.

WIth training puppies normally a mild cheese (they go OTT for  liver cake) and adult dogs doing abit of training now and again get biscuits.

Also used are smachoes, winolot sticks, nutro treats, etc etc that are more exciting then a biscuit but are not ultra exciting.

At shows It's liver cake and biscuits (biscuits are needed to dry out the livercake while it is deforing on the way to the show!!!

Frolic but we have to be careful as it get the dallies overexcited.
