Now, I may be over-reacting but today it seems like I've been living with 30 dogs, not 3 :D
I'm quite stressed today...SOOO much college work to get done, dogs to feed/walk/entertain, house to tidy as parents are back from hols tomorrow, work to go to...then on top of that the dogs have been playing silly gets all day, mainly lots of barking but also chase games round the table, leaping all over the furniture...whoever said dogs and leather went together...you should see the scratches :D Hopefully my mam won't!!!
They are usually all ok together, in the house, could they be picking up on the fact that I'm stressy, but why would they then act in a way that makes me angry...or am I looking too far into it???
I know alot of you out there also own multiple dogs...how on earth do you cope??!!
Thanks for reading, just needed to get this off my chest, tomorrow is a new day!

I normally find if I'm stressed out they love to wind me up more!!! :(
My brother used to have the classic case with a bitch he started showing when she was 9 mths after I had done her training and first few shows. She used to move her feet like any fidgity puppy would, and to this my brother got a little annoyed (not the most patient person back then) and she got worse and worse and you can see in her eye "wow this is annoying you isn't it" *move foot*
He soon learnt to calm down and they work so well together now!
Just tell them all they are being pains in the bum and give them a cuddle!!!! :D
OOH, how I know that feeling, last time I showed Kayla she got BOB and we were stood next to a certain very successful GWP exhibitor in the BIS line up and Kay was playing musical feet, everytime one was right she would move another...I kept my cool..until I was out of the ring :D That day I vowed never to show her again...outside anyway!!!
Will endevour to be more calm, even when things are piling up around me, thanx Roxanne :)

Oh I own the most fidgity dog EVER! Infact Dad shows her so I don't get shown up!!!! :D (I have that joy)
If you ever see myself at a show you might see me telling myself to calm down. I know it's when I get worked up the dogs mes me about. The amount of times I have sworen never to take a dog in the ring again. LOL Said it once in junior handling befoure we had been placed and then won the class and Best overall. Said it again in my first adult handling class. The owner of the dog remined me I had won two best handlers with her already, and 3-4 weeks ago took another best handler (adults!) Had her at training last night and she stood perfectly, moved lovely and couldn't be faulted!!!!! They are such pains in the bums!!! :D
My Westie is like this when i get up first thing in the morning when she's put out for a wee she cries and barks very load to come back in. Also i have a wrought iron bed so when i turn over and she hers the bed she does the same thing it's like she's saying get up mum you lazy so and so, the cocktails are the same. I know animals dont think the same as humans but some times you would think they did.
Warm regards Susan
I have 3 dogs but my viz wouldn't degrade herself by doing anything wrong/naughty lol :D however the "gruesome twosome" make up for her the spin leads the rotti astray !
You can gaurantee that its when i'm running late getting out of the house with kids to go to school & myself for work, she tends to do things like grabs a toilet roll & shreds it ! lol her & the rott share the pleasure of making loads of mess :D my viz just sits there with sheer disgust on her face !
It's quite funny really :D
Take a step back Emily , deep breath & then smile :D you'll feel loads better !lol
Ok, plz, plz tell me who you are! I'm intrigued!!
Will deffo try the step back, deep breath, smile thing...will try not to let them wind me up so much!
have a look in your messages ;)
p.s. :D smile :D lol have you taken that deep breath yet ? ;)
It's always the way though isn't it when you are in a rush you notice things like that, just laugh as Stann says or you'd end up in tears. What are you studying for Emily?
Warm regards Susan

Busy doesn't even come close! I'm off out to college in a min, me and a few friends had a college assignment get together yesterday to get ourdelves organised as all assignments are due in next Thursday...wish I had exams instead :D So I'm going in to check I have all my work and know what I'm doing....then I have the rest of the house to tidy, the dogs to feed and walk then I'm gonna have to leave early to get to the airport to avoid rush hour....trust my parents to be flying in at 5pm!
Thanks for all the support guys....I'm studying an animal management national diploma...BTEC thingy :D We will be pretty much done in 2 weeks then its summer...YIPPEE!!
Have made a vow not to come back on here at all today, its such a distraction....newbies beware!!!! Maybe I'll get something achieved today!

Lol I hear ya...When my lot (5) get going they drive me batty... I usually yell thats enough or I send them outside if they are still busy disrupting everything. They can do laps in my house run from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room all the way to the hallways and go in a big circle. They will start going the same way then one gets smart and runs the other way to catch that one and do they ever get going. I am always tripping over them lol
Good luck in college :)
