I have got a gorgeous liver puppy who I want to keep but she is 3 weeks old and still got no pigment on her eyes. She is pigmented on her nose and the others are on the eyes. Any opinions as to whether the pigment will come some say yes some say no never noticed it before in any other puppies so am totally confused also I have seen some herbal stuff from dorwest has any one tried it and does it work on missing pigment?

Liver pigmentation does seem to be slower in arriving than black. However I'd expect to see some sign of it around the eyes by now, though not necessarily complete - is there none at all?
Not a sign of it and she is absolutely stunning. I sometimes feel that I am destined never to get my liver bitch. Her sister is pigmented and almost identical but I have suspisions of her being a uni.

Missing pigmentation is such a disappointment! :( It invariably happens on an otherwise very nicely decorated puppy! Missing eyerims really make a dal look piggy. :(
Would you believe it has never happened before. The dad does have a problem with throwing dogs with missing pigment but I had 12 from him last time different mum and all fully pigmented. All I want is a liver bitch she has the personality markings eye colour broken ears the lot. Perhaps I should have her eyes tattood ;)

The most frustrating is when you have one complete eyerim and one three-quarter. You hope and hope that the final portion will close; sometimes it does - when the pup's about 5 years old!
I sold Tiggers brother for that exact reason but it was his nose which wasnt filled in. It is perfect now. I have actually got a friend of mine who made his bitch up with missing pigment. I dont think I like this breeding business anymore all I want is one perfect liver bitch!!!!!!!
