I am sooo excited. I have managed to get Zack into a new school. Only 34 pupils in the whole school - he will be one of 7 boys in his class and 6 girls. Its a beautiful little village school with an adventure playground, music shed, they go on trips, all eat lunches together instead of "sittings", have fetes and they have the best Ofsted report in the area!

He's starting in September and its just like the schools in the past. They even teach them German at 6!

Why can't there be more like this!

Brilliant news Chloe, my two girls went to a small village public school, 4 teachers and 28 pupils. I am sure he will settle in very quickly.

Its such a shame that more of these schools are now closing down, but the one my daughters went to was one of the best and is still going strong, with a waiting list going into the next decade although no longer a public, has still got very much the old school qualities.

Oh fantastic! My Boy went to one like that for the first 6 years of his schooling, and it was marvellous. He learned really well, and blossomed as a personality - and he learned to play with children older and younger than himself. It's a great system -you must be delighted!

Expanding! Finding it hard to bend down now and sleeping is a distant memory of something I used to do at night. Willis is being strangely gentle - up until last night at least when I had to chase him down the hall cos he's learned to pick my laptop case up by the handle and tank off with it. Norty step for Willis again. 6 weeks to go and counting till baby due date. Not convinced he'll go that long, but perhaps thats just wishful thinking!

Baby Archie is definitely down on the list for the new school :D :D
