my boy mated almost 9 weeks ago now,the family wh came also had a grey hound mated a few days later,the greyhound is showing well,swollen belly,large teats etc,the schnauzer who came to my boy has enlarged ribcage,swollen teats scratching borrowing clothing etc.they have been told by the greyhound stud owner that the schnauzer isnt pregnant,i feel she may be as there are a lot of schnauzers i know who have carried high in the ribs,we had a good few slips and a def tie.what do you think?they havent brought her back for me to have a look myself,but is it possible that she is having a phantom because the other bitch is pregnant
any advice appreciated

Many bitches will have a phanthom after season, regardless of whether mated or not. Your friend will have her hands full if both are!!!!!!

Yes. Almost every bitch will have a degree of phantom pregnancy after every season, whether mated or not. Some have barely noticeable symptoms - others go the whole hog.
