My sister's chi pup is showing what i'm perceiving as separation anxiety-type stress, though I don't think it's full blown SA.
His housetraining isn't perfect, still the odd accident (most noteably in the cats' room at the mo!); he is 7 months, btw. The problem is when R (sister) is away. She's in Orlando at the moment on business, and apparently Monkey (the pup) is peeing and pooing everywhere - last time she went away to Finland for a few days, the same thing happened. The peenig is the worst I'm told.
Does anyone have any clever ideas for this? She's usually away once or twice a month for three or four days, and the rest of the time she works from home. Monkey is okay with little alone times - a few hours here and there, the odd night - he's stayed with me for 24 hours and been fine. It's jsut the big trips that are the problem. R's OH is always there when she isn't, but little Monkey is more attached to her, presumably because she does the walking and feeding normally. They both play with him though.
