I am looking for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier bitch for a pet.  She must be a puppy as I have a cat!  I live in North Yorkshire.  There seems to be plenty of dogs available but no bitches. Can anyone help?

Please OP, go through the KC or one of the breed clubs.... much the most sensible way to go!

I agree with the others,please go through a reputable breeder,you can find one out of the many stafford clubs around the country.

as an owner of a very special Staff who has a wonderful temperament,please find a reputable breeder, do not buy from a paper or pet shop or puppy farm. Staff owners have enough problems with the reputation of their breed as it is. A good breeder will quiz you on your home, your background/experience etc before allowing you to have one of their animals. Try the Yorkshire SBT club they should be on the net

And check that both parents have been eye tested clear!
