HI ALL :) I've got 12wks old GSD pup and wanna show her but how do i go about training her? when? and where and wot show can i enter her in?? im from Bradford and would like any show kennel or GSD club members or anyone with info to help pls :P :)

First of all, is she KC registered???  If she is, then you can enter her into any KC shows - so your next step should be to find a Ringcraft class near you - join that, and you will be able to train your pup (and yourself) about ringcraft, and the members there will point you on your way.

Your breeder SHOULD tell you about all of this....

You should start training her now.Take her to ring craft where they will teach you how to show her.Then go along to some shows...both open and champ to watch.Join a breed club and then wait till she is 6 months old and start showing.Its also worth buying one of the national dog papers...dog world or our dogs ....where you will get lots of info.

Archer how right you are!   My pup is only 7 months old still, only had two shows and now i count the days until the next show.  I want at least three or four shows a month lol.   How sad am I ? :o)

i wanna be an addict too :P but never even got a taste :(....car broke down nite before and didn't get home till 3am so ended up at home in bed, so did anyone go to the bradley mills GSD show and how was it?? now i join daisy and waitin patiently 4 wks 4 the next show2. anyone with any idea when the next show is in yorkshire area that would show GSD????
