I cannot believe after 3 years of showing I now look like something of a overdone lobster today.  If anyone is going to outdoor shows make sure you pack the suntan lotion.  Is anyone else out there suffering?

3 years ago I was at a show with no shade available at all on a hot day, and I got so badly burnt I am now scarred for life.I was blistered for weeks and had to have bed rest and cream for fire victims, arms swollen to twice their size etc,am permanently red in the face etc now, and can't take the sun at all any more.I blister even in cloudy weather now! So be careful everyone!!

ooh i hate sunburn theres nothing worse .have you tryed putting some aloe vera gel on your burns it rearly sooths them! i think people forget to use sun cream as they forget coz they aint abroad. hopefully you should go brown soon if you dont peel that is. :)

OH dear, I got it a couple of weeks ago and then went and bought sunblocj for my body and scalp.. so I was prepared today and came home without any sunburn :-) thank heavens as  I was like a lobster also.

If you go back through my posts and find the one on sunblock for the scalp there is a good link for 2 products. I am very fair and it worked today , one application in the morning and my hair didn't look greasy.

Oh this made me giggle even though it was painful at the time!
I went to a summer fun day event and wore a t-shirt and of course when i got home and stripped off it still looked like i had a t-shirt on, complete with absolutely crucifed arms that were redder than a post box. :D
