I'm looking for a puppy of Chinese Imperial Chin.
I'd greatly appreciate to find some information on breeders.
Thank you.

Reading the blurb on their site they seem to be an American organisation that is perhaps similar to our own dog lovers uk organisation. They state that they recognise all 444 breeds including those the AKC won't register.
The chinese chin is between 3-6 inchs tall and appears to be a miniature Japanese Chin.
Maybe our guest is American - all the sites I've found have been American.

I wish I understood the facination with these teeny tiny breeds. It would get stepped on or squashed in our house! Oh well, one man's grape juice is another man's wine.

ROFL - I suppose this depends whether the "grapes" are squashed by the feet :D

PS Just looked at the website and it says the dog is 3 to 6 inches tall but can weigh as much as 15lbs. Must be a typo - 6 inches tall and over a stone in weight ?? :)

At the bottom of the page, it stated:
*There are 4 sizes of Ch’in: the giant (9-10”), classic (4-6”), miniature (4”), and the sleeve dog (3”).
So, that's probably where the extreme weights apply. :)

Eog,
I did see the bottom of the page but my reply was a Joke :D Perhaps a British one and probably not that funny (I have an odd sense of humour sometimes especially if bored in work) but a joke nevertheless :D

Ah, je vois :) :P :P That's #2 in the last few days that went by my head and I missed completely. Am I turning into a humourless prune????? Probably I'm spending way too much time alone, which should be changing really soon ;) :)

Breeding dogs down to the size of a squirel seems to be an American facination, strange when you think about it, perhaps someone who owns or wishes to own such a small dog would tell us why. I suppose you would not have the trouble of walking it and it could be as aggresive as it liked you would just shove it in your pocket or keep it in a bird cage. Jackie H

Just one of my pet peeves these days about us Americans. Exagerational extremes.
If it's small, let's make it tiny
If it's tiny ---make it miniscule!
if it's large --go giant
If it's strong --- go OX!!!
I won't even go into overlarge SUV & Trucks that everyone feels they need to drive to the mall and gets 10 miles to the gallon. :(

Know it's wrong to lump a whole nation together but to me when some one says US of A, I always thing BIG is BEST, so it comes as a bit of a shock that they seem to like to own dogs that are almost too small to function, may be it makes everything else seem larger. :) Sorry Sara, Jackie H

No prob, Jackie. ;)
You're absolutely right, though. As a nation, one of the core beliefs is "Bigger is Better." Just ask Texans or food chains about that point ;) We have constant ideology and advertising along those lines. But if one doesn't have the largest, one should have the smallest/tiniest ... then it's a statement :D :D
